Hanging Out | Sunday, September 23, 2007


Received a call last Tuesday from the one and only Ms.Alison Poh.

Inviting me to hang out with her and Yen on Saturday.

First they wanted to go somewhere in KL. Seeing that they were both from KL, and I am not. I suggested MidValley.( yes again coz i love shopping @ MidValley )

Alison thought i was from Shah Alam or somewhere....apparently I dont look Klang-ish. Wonder if its a good thing or a bad thing eh ???anyway.... told Alison that I am hopeless when it comes to driving around KL area.

Alison suggested Sungai Wang - eh ? dont know how to get there....yeah i know im very country pumpkin. The only river i know is Sungai Klang, which is located right next to where i live. haha



Neways, was suggesting either MidValley or 1U.
I was secretly hoping for 1U as I have not been there in a long time.
But we finally settled on MidValley.

Met up with both Alison and Yen at around 4 something.

Went around shopping.

These girls loved their shoes!Shoe Fetish ? maybe..hehe

I love shoes too but considering the shoes i still have back at home...the outside shoe cabinet...the inside shoe cabinet....my room's shoe rack.....ermmm...perhaps i should stop buying shoes and start selling them.

Neways was tempted, tried on a couple of pairs but held on to my will and did not buy any!!

Arent'cha just proud of me!!!

I did however, bought two blouses. Since Im gonna start work again on the 1st of October - its only fair that i buy some new clothes right!?!?! LOL



Then we were hungry and we thought we have dinner - western style.
was suggesting TGI Fridays but as it turns out, there werent any Fridays at MidValley so we decided on Chili's. Went there, was told it was packed. Asked the hostess how long do we have to wait , she answered - 2 hours! OMG!!
We were hungry so we decided not to wait and settled on All Stars Cafe instead.
Being silly girls that we were, it totally slipped our mind that it was the Puasa Month and loads of places were packed coz people were waiting to break their fast. And we chose such nice timings some more. sigh. Yeah we decided we were hungry at around 7pm. @_@

I thought All Stars was a western eatery somewhat like Fridays or Chili's but i was wrong.
I would named it a sort of rojak kinda restaurant coz they have food ranging from western style steaks and sandwiches to Japanese and Asian.
I thought i was in wrong place....hehe

So we shared a Caeser's Salad - Which was so so only.....it only made me missed the Caeser's Salad i used to have onboard SSV at Taverna.
I ordered the Chicken Burger with Cheese. It was so so.
Honestly, i have definately had better.


Alison ordered Lamb Lion and Yen had Pita stuffed with chicken and apples.
The Lamb Lion was not bad but didnt try the pita.

Seeing that i had the burger, one would have thought the burger would come first.......but no..it came last.....................hmmmmmmmmm...maybe cooking/making a chicken burger takes a longer time i suppose.... =p

Who btw bought her shoes but they were shoes for "jalan-jalan" not for working and she had wanted to buy one for working. ^_^

But Yen on the other hand bought two pairs of shoes - extremely similar but one has straps and one doesnt - both black and shiny and like 4 inches high.
And yeah, she has a thing for height.

Doesnt matter that she is already like 7 feet tall!! hahaha whats a couple of inches more! hehehe

just kidding.

But the girl is tall. She is atleast a head full taller than me.

And I am not Short....nor am i tall...but definately not short!

Yen's favourite coz she has a thing for photos taken up close - something about how the head appear larger really facinates her.............

i know i have weird friends...hehehe

We finished dinner at around 8 something, walked for a short while and then Yen had to go home. I on the other hand, walked a couple of rounds more before heading home! hehehe

I only wished I had more time coz there still things i wanted to see and try and buy......sigh
