Ok...what the heck is wrong with the country and the world these days. First the apparently shocking result of the recent election.
Followed by the natural disaster that is taking places all over. EarthQuakes! Floods!! Thousands died......children....old folks.....people who probably has never hurt a single living being in their life suddenly have his or her life shorten without a fair warning. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. In my own opnion, those who truly deserve to meet their maker ASAP has not met their maker and yet those who deserve more in life did not get a fair treatment.
As i sat here right after work - its 9.40 pm.Mind you, i have not even had dinner nor have i showered. I am just terribly upset. This has been bugging me all the way home while being stuck in my car. My journey took me over 2 hours - a journey that usually takes me around 45 mins to an hour. How come ?? . Besides that fact I work in KL its ....
BECAUSE - the sudden hike in the price of petrol. Everyone was rushing to petrol station to pump petrol in hopes to atleast save a few ringgit this week. i know its ridiculous because after midnight, anyone that pumps petrol will have to pay by the new price. It was even mentioned on the radio that there has been a heavy/stand still traffic nation wide due to the fact that people were just rushing to the petrol station. Although my tank was half full but i decided to just try my luck and atleast save a couple of ringgit. Hence it took a quite a while waiting in the line but i was fortunate because it was a huge petrol station and most of the people were very civil. They follow the line and there were no people cutting or jumping line. But some places,some people were just being such a moron. cutting line and etc. morons!
But it is absolutely RIDICULOUS with the new pricing
RM 2.70 - an increase of RM 0.78 = 40% .
But this morning in today's paper and on morning talk shows and news ; it was annouced that there will be no increase of petrol price until August.
Now correct me if I am wrong - Is it AUGUST already ??? Or am I the only one that lives in a world where the calender still says its 4th June 2008. BUT apparently to SOME people its already AUGUST ????????
I was cursing and swearing when i found out. My friend told me bout the hike in price earlier today but I confidently told her," No No...there will be no hiking of prices until August. It was mention on TV and the papers... No hiking until August "
I guess it doesnt count eventhought it was mentioned earlier the day on both papers and tvs that price will only increase in August like articles such as these - dated 1st June 2008 onMSN NEWS .
I guess these days one cant depend on getting the news - accurate news from sources such as newspapers and TV news report. I guess these are just unreliable sources ???????????????
Now doing such searching and reading found these few apparently UNRELIABLE news relating to the petrol.
Wow...and readthis...a rebate of RM625 annual. ..WAHHHHHH..WE ARE SOOO LUCKYYYYY.....OMGGGGGG this would reallly reallllly help us. we are just so darn luckyyyyy.

Isnt it bad enough that the price of rice has INCREASED tremendously - putting a dent on the PEOPLE of this COUNTRY - its especially funny seeing that how our Country produce our own paddy/rice.....but it was decide to make life more interesting for us ;THE PEOPLE to have the price of petrol hike up as well.
Whats next ?? Toll ???? Poultries ??? Soon we would probably need to start paying WHATEVER apparently that WE are paying for just stepping out of our HOUSE.
With the increase of electricy next month...soon it will be water....and then AIR!!!! We would eventually be charged / billed for just breathing in AIR!!!!!
What the....... @#%$#@*&^%$#@!! excuse me...but just really pissed off right now.
However, i do find it hillarious that time and time again we were reminded that petrol in our country is one of the lowest and cheapest compare to other places. but do bare in mind that in these countries in which we were compared to; cars are awhole lot cheaper!! taxes are lower or their people are earning a higher salary scheme as compare to us. But hey....lets not take those point out to compare....just blindly compare them eventhough with common sense and with one eye close and a deaf ear - you would still be able to see the differences. BUUUTTT hey...lets not see them.
And one wonders why some people are migrating. some left the country to pursue a better and higher earning career and some went to study but decided not to come back after finding that the future is brighter outside and the grass is indeed greener.
With being upset and pissed off and irritated, a part of me feels sad.
Its becomin a sad sad world.........
one wonders - do we not deserve better ? ..............................................................................................
