I must say, this past weekend has got to be one of the busiest i have ever had....or perhaps age is finally catching up and im old and tired ??? sigh
well, it started with Friday night - the whole week itself has been super bz as its the final week of school at work. And since Thursday its been party till Friday at the school. Party Party Party - Kids Party of coz! hahaha
And as its also the last week of the term for this year - the school celebrated Christmas in advance just so the children can have a feel of it before they all go off for their holidays. Parents at the school are so sweet. I've received more chocolates than i knew what to do with....gifts.....its so just sweet of the parents and the children. They are so generous ^___^. Although im no longer a teacher - but i guess being a programme coordinator has its perks too!! hahaha
Then we had our year end dinner @ party to celebrate a great year......birthdays & farewells.....a few of my colleagues are leaving...sigh. And a few of them are good friends.......sigh so sad to see them leave but i guess when a good opportunity shows up in front of you, it would be down right silly to ignore it.

Because of these 3 ladies, we had another separate gatherin @ makan session @ gossip time on Saturday night at Veron's place.
Veron:Thanks for loaning us your place. We really had a good time. And your place is beautiful!!
Shih Ran : im expectin you to give me the red carpet treatment when i go to Spore!! hahaha Marylyn & I~Juen : same thing with you guys.....psst psst...can you guys like move over to London instead ??? hahaha
So guys, since i will miss you guys so you guys better miss me back!!! hahaha
Then come Sunday. I had a birthday invitation. This is for a lil girl - Natasha - who is gonna be celebrating her 3rd Birthday. I have been receiving a few of the children's birthday invitations but its usually on a Saturday. And seeing that i worked Saturdays - i cant attend.sigh But this was on a Sunday. And the parents have been telling me about it - and they are really nice parents . So of coz i told them i will be attending it ^____^
Oh, did i meantion its gonna be held at Lemon Garden, Shangri La Hotel, KL ? well thats where it was held. And yes, its her 3rd Birthday - the theme was Island Barbie Doll. It was a lunch buffet, and i must say, the selections there are super!! im planning to bring my sis n my parents the there following weekend..hehehe...i love it there!!
This is Natasha - The Birthday Girl. In her first outfit of the day - The Island Barbie Dress. This sweetie is really a girly-girl. According to her mum, she insisted on getting her hair curled and her own manicure with painted nails. hehehee
The party @ buffet lunch started at around 12.30pm. i was there around 12.45pm.....until 3.30pm. By the time i got home, it was already 4 plus. I had a super super full lunch. hehehe super!!
On my way home, spoke to Ray. Totally forgot that it waas Kian Kheong's 30th Birthday. Ray has already cooked up something to celebrate....and i almost forgot. Almost didnt wanna go as i was tired and the past 2 nights i've been home really late. And up very early...hahaha. But since i havent seen Ray for awhile and I have not see Kian Kheong for almost 2 years now - thought i should show up. I was sure i would have a good time. And true enough i did.
I finally meet Calvin - a chef - a good friend of Ray. Whom shes been telling me about for ages. Whom is also celebrating his 30th Birthday - only his was like a couple more days to go.I met Calvin's bro - Edwin. And another friend of Rays - Diana. They all went to the same primary schools and were classmates - well except for Edwin. ^_^. A couple of Kian Kheong's former students came too. They were also Ray's former students.
We all met up at Modesto's , Centro, Klang. We had pizzas and calamaris. And seeing that Kian Kheong loves his beers! we ordered a tower - that they kept refilling - both the tower and our glasses. The place was pretty dead actually.....the selection of music was much more meant for the dance floor than a bunch of ppl having their beers. The food was so-so only. Nothing to shout about. But the company was great ^_^.
Had a really great time with these bunch of people. ^_^
i had to cut my drinking session with them by 12 something coz i was really tired and my dad called! hahahaha So i told them to continue while i make a move la.....hehe And Edwin - Calvin's bro - was sweet enough to escort me to my car . Which i was really really glad coz when we got down the car park - the security guy was nearby the lift area talking on his walkie-talkie while there were a bunch of guys - samseng looking guys - just finished what looks like a lil negotiation ? was a lil scared but Edwin kept saying that its alright...its ok. And i was really a lil freaked out coz the bunch of samsengs were right next to my car............ssiiggghh... Edwin just stayed cool....say no worries...walked me to my car...watch me get in...and see me drove away....
Boy was i glad he was there. Am soooo buying him a drink the next time ^_^. Have to tell Ray to thanked him for me.
But overall, it was a great day. But by the time im back - took a shower - i had to finished up some pending office work which was meant for today. I didnt sleep until 3 am! hahaha i know! im goin nuts! good thing i dont work on Mondays - so i actually got to sleep in!!
One more week to go before school will like officially be children-less!! haha i still have to go to work but there will be no children at the school - peace and quiet!! and i can finally do my pending paperworks - filling - and my ritual term break spring cleaning!!!
